The comfortable, home-like atmosphere our residents enjoy is carefully designed and diligently nurtured. We begin by tailoring a personal care plan for each resident around preferences in:

• level of daily assistance needed
• religious services
• transportation to local events, shopping, and medical appointments

Each resident enjoys either a private or semi-private bedroom that includes:
• a half-bath
• bed and dresser
• intercom, cable hookup and individual phone access

Our certified staff is continuously trained to provide expert care as well as:
• home-cooked meals
• laundry and housekeeping
• medication monitoring
• social and recreational activities

In recent state licensing and certification surveys (Oct 08) of two of Safe Haven's facilities, the Shelly facility received a "perfect" rating, and the Lava facilities' score was shy of perfect by only a few punch-list items.
